Q2. Do these Programmes have AICTE/ MD University recognition?
Management programmes are approved by AICTE and the MBA programme is affiliated to MD University, Rohtak, and AUAC, the American University Accreditation Council. SDIMT also has ISO 9001-9002 approval. This helps students to make the right choice, as this degree is an investment for the right career, with expectations of great return. Q3. How are the programmes offered at SDIMT different from the other programmes available at Universities across the country?
The programs of SDIMT have been tailored keeping in mind the requirements of Industry, the experience of the promoters and the faculty, who have a fair idea of factors which are adversely affecting the delivery of quality management education. Q4 What is the eligibility?
A candidate must be Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline from UGC Recognized university with minimum 50% (for SC/ST candidates 45% marks). Students who are in the graduation in any discipline with at least 2nd class. Final year of their bachelor's degree program may also apply. Admission of such candidates will be provisional and will be cancelled in the event of fulfillment of the stated criteria of marks. CAT & MAT and MDU scores and performance in group discussion and personal interview Common to all three programs: The aspiring candidate should possess an unyielding desire to contribute to society. The candidates need to have basic comprehension and writing abilities in English language. Candidates appearing for their final Bachelor’s exam in May-June 2011 are eligible to apply. They will be given provisional admission which would be confirmed after receipt of results. However, results need to declared prior to starting of SDIMT’s P.G. Program.
Q5 What is the procedure for admission?
Admission against 75% open seats will be done by Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS) and for the remaining 25% Management Seats.
Q6. How does SDIMT plan to encourage diversity and enable the disadvantaged?
SDIMT is deeply committed to encouraging diversity and enabling the disadvantaged. SDIMT welcomes applicants from different socio economic backgrounds, caste, class, religion and gender. 1. Financial Aid. Q7. Does a SDIMT student get bank loans.?
Yes. Most Indian banks accept an SDIMT admission letter as ground for its education loans. However SDIMT has its financial partners as well, who guarantee loans to all students who get selected at SDIMT. So basically it means that if you get selected at SDIMT then you can study at SDIMT regardless of your financial condition. Tie up with Nainital Bank, Indian Bank etc help students to get educational loans.

Q10. What are the courses offered by SDIMT?

APPLICATION PROCESS
Q1. How does one apply to SDIMT?
SDIMT advertisements come out regularly in all the leading newspapers in Delhi /NCR. Accordingly one can obtain the SDIMT prospectus from SDIMT offices by hand or by post. SDIMT highly recommends that prospective students visit SDIMT themselves, talk to the counselors/ Deans and also speak to existing students to find out about the world-class education imparted at SDIMT.
ADMISSION TESTS
Q1. Does SDIMT conduct admission test?
Yes, Admissions are based on MAT/CAT Scores, for those candidates who have not appeared in these tests , SDIMT conducts its own entrance test and interview. GLOBAL EXPOSURE
Q2. Do all SDIMT students go for the global internship programme of SDIMT to various countries abroad?
Yes. All students who join SDIMT (Premium) go for its global internship programme to various developed countries of the world.
Q3. What about other inputs?
Students are taught English conversation, for which we have special software package to teach English, classes are held regularly for personality development and French language.
Q4. Do faculty from leading business schools come to take classes at SDIMT?
Yes. Faculty from leading B- schools have come to teach at various branches of SDIMT. Prof. Sindhwani, Prof. Khanka, Mr.Subhash Jagota, Mr. J.P.Malhotra, Mr.Sandeep Wij (IIM A), Mr. Brijesh are some of the faculty who conduct workshops and take classes at SDIMT.
PLACEMENTS
Q1. When do placements start and how long do they last. ?
Mr. Sandeep Vij (IIM A) has been instrumental in providing pre-placement workshops and seminars which works like a finishing school, his contacts in the industry, brings a large numbers of recruiters at the campus, SDIMT has a dedicated Placement department, which has the responsibility of placing the students. Placements for typically starts in December and gets over by end of April. Most of the students are of course placed at least two months before the end of the placement season. The SDIMT placements last a little longer than normal business school placements because a majority of companies who visit SDIMT go to more than one campus during placement season as well as because while most institutes have only about 100 students, SDIMT has more than 300 students joining in all its branches put together.
Q2. Does SDIMT guarantee placements?
Indian economy is growing at 8%-9%, there are enough jobs for those with adequate skills and the confidence, and the will to work. Jobs depend upon the economic situation of the country at a given point of time. However past experience suggests that about 80 percent of students joining SDIMT every year opt for placements as the others end up joining their own businesses or start their own ventures or go for further studies. Almost hundred percent of these 80 percent students who opt for placements every year get placed before they pass out of SDIMT. Students are given a chance to sit for interviews till they get placed. SDIMT is committed to placing all the students.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
SDIMT has a large library with adequate books and journals, it also has the facility to provide info from e-journals, for its students and faculty members, so that they may have no difficulty in research and publishing papers. It has buses to transport students from their home to the campus, Hostel facilities for the students who come from other states, and has a lovely cafeteria and Wi-Fi.
Q1. Do students have to buy their own laptops at SDIMT?
No. SDIMT provides all its premium students with FREE laptops because laptops have become a necessity for modern day world- class education.

Q2. What are the other aspects of SDIMT that SDIMT stands proud of?
SDIMT is extremely proud of the quality of its permanent faculty and their research and publication work. It takes out every fortnight SDIMT Path. A large number of consultants and guest faculty visit on a regular basis, we have ISO 9001-9002, to ensure the right quality standards, with the right links with FMA, FSIA, FCCI etc. The faculty members are highly respected, sought after and leading authorities of various subjects contribute regularly to various journals and conferences . National seminar at SDIMT
National Seminar on Sustaining Profitability in Challenging Times - A need to Focus was organized on 25&26 March 2011. The objective of the seminar was to contemplate on the basic problems faced by the industry: high input costs, liquidity crisis, red-tapism, non availability of skilled manpower, governance, corruption, falling confidence of Indian and foreign investors, increasing scams. Sub themes of Seminar were : Corruption and scams, Red-tapism, Shortage of skilled workforce, Falling confidence level of Industry Research papers presentation on contemporary issues : Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Production & Operations , Human Resources, IT, Materials, etc. The seminar was a great success with more than 80 papers and spekers like Mr.J. P. Malhotra, Prof.Khanka from NIFM and Mr.Rajeev Chawla, President, FSIA.
Paper Presentation & Debate Competition at SDIMT SDIMT organized Paper Presentation & Debate Competition at SDIMT on 9th April, 2011, students from Manav Rachna: MRCE, MRIU and Govt. College Tigaon, participated with a lot of enthusiasm, it provided a fertile ground for exchange of ideas and networking opportunities.
