Management Club
There Shall be a management Club of students which will function under the guidance of the Director of SDIMT. All students of the SDIMT shall be its members. The forum shall be presided over by the Director and he shall nominate a student to help him in discharge of his functions in respect of the forum. The main object of the forum shall be give opportunities to the students at certain intervals, to debate and discuss in seminars and workshops, the various aspects of business management problems along with current affairs.
Management refers to the skills of understanding and developing a broader perspective of business. Roles could entail an exposure to multiple areas followed by work in particular streams focused on developing overall leadership skills.
The Management Club at the SDIMT is the first of its kind among Indian business schools and was started by the batch of 2008-10.
The Management Club was formed in response to the growing demand for MBA students to take cross-functional and leadership roles. The maturity and diversity of experience of the Club members makes the Club unique.
Mission
The Management Club at the SDIMT strives to groom its members to prepare for general management careers in various industries.
The Club is focusing on:
- partnering with industry leaders to share knowledge on careers in general management
- collaborating with alumni to provide assistance in interview preparation and recruitment
- building the skills of its members in academic, placement, and networking areas
- networking with students across other B-schools (domestic and international)
- enjoying life at the SDIMT
